Surgical Implant Placement (Day 1–2)
Under local anesthesia (or sedation), any failing teeth are removed and 6 titanium implants are precisely placed. The surgery takes approximately 3–4 hours per arch.
Same-Day Provisional Bridge (Day 1–2)
A fixed temporary bridge is immediately attached to the 6 implants. You leave with a full set of functional teeth on the same day as your surgery.
Healing & Osseointegration (3–6 Months)
The titanium implants gradually fuse with the jawbone. During this period, you return home and resume normal activities while the implants become securely anchored.
Return to Istanbul
After 3-6 months, you return to our clinic for your second trip. We remove the temporary bridge and take final digital impressions.
Permanent Zirconia Bridge Fitting

All-on-6 is generally considered the premium option when adequate bone volume exists. It provides better force distribution, greater stability, and is associated with improved long-term implant survival. All-on-4 remains an excellent solution when bone loss is a factor. Our specialists will recommend the right option based on your specific bone anatomy revealed in the 3D CT scan.
All-on-6 requires adequate bone volume to anchor 6 implants. If there is insufficient bone, a grafting procedure may be needed before implant placement. In some cases, our surgeons can use zygomatic (cheekbone) implants to avoid grafting. This will all be assessed during your consultation and 3D CT evaluation.
The surgical procedure itself typically takes 3–4 hours per arch. If both arches are being treated on the same day, plan for a longer session. The overall treatment trip to Istanbul (including pre-op, surgery, and provisional bridge fitting) takes approximately 5–7 days.
We use a provisional acrylic resin bridge immediately after surgery, and a final full-zirconia bridge once healing is complete. Zirconia is chosen for the permanent bridge because it combines exceptional strength with a beautiful, translucent, tooth-like appearance that is highly resistant to staining and chipping.
The entire process requires two trips to Turkey. The first trip (5–7 days) is for planning, surgery, and your temporary bridge. After 3–6 months of healing (osseointegration) at home, you return for a second trip (5–7 days) to have your permanent full-zirconia bridge custom-fitted.
